er wonderful sense of humor. Muf also loved to read, and for the past few years enjoyed hitting the yard sales. She loved Motown music and rhythm and blues. Muffy had a deep appreciation, along with Tom, for games of chance such as poker and horseracing. Sunday night poker games were a common winter entertainment for many years. Going to the track in Saratoga was a pilgrimage most every August for at least a few days, sitting at the top of the stretch where you could see the horses being urged to make their move.
